A sweet taste of dreamland...Kirby's Dreamland

Welcome back everyone to another installment of our "Retro Sketch" series. For our next installment, I would like to introduce to you everyone favorite Nintendo cute little puff ball, Kirby, in his first game debut, "Kirby's Dreamland"

Kirby's Dreamland  is a 1992 third party developed platforming video game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy handheld video game console. It was first released in Japan, and was later released in North America. It is both the first video game in the Kirby series and the debut of the Kirby character. Kirby's Dream Land was designed by Masahiro Sakurai, at HAL Laboratory who intended for Kirby's Dream Land to be a simple game that could be played by beginning gamers.

Introducing our new "Retro Sketch" series...a tribute to games past!

Greetings everyone, ToXicTeK here. I would like start of this post off by saying that things are a bit crazy here at SG and I just wanted to assure all of you that despite some of challenges that we're having, we getting ready to introduce to you a new series that will help kick off the summer for all of us. I would like to introduce you all to the new series, "Retro Sketch":. Through this series we will be paying tribute to games of of past generations that serve as the foundation and roots of gaming in general. Any game that has been on a console since the dawn of time prior to consoles such as the Xbox, and Wii, will be posted up on our channel. We're all excited about starting this new series., Such classic titles such as Contra and Kirby's Dreamland are currently in the works and being prepped for publishing. We here at SG hope that  you enjoy this small tribute to gaming history as we conquer, and rage (lol), every possible game there is to possibly play!!! To start this series off, I would like to introduce to you all the first game in  our lineup for the series, Contra.

ToXicTeK's discussion on departure and latest vid drop for SG!

Hey everyone, ToXicTeK here!. I have some things I need to clear before I announce the latest video drop. First off, if you had the chance to read the previous regarding my departure from Sketch Gaming, you'll need to take a back for others. For those who didn't know, I made announcement last week regarding my departure from Sketch Gaming to pursue other projects. I had every intention on leaving, however, a few recent events in my life had me second guessing things.Despite all of the recent events, I've come the realization that Sketch Gaming is where I'm needed and have decided to come back and help make SG the greatest gaming community there is. I'll be joined by Ventus, Beamerwalls,  Deadly Duality, and with some special guests as Sketch Gaming kicks up the quantity and quality of our videos during the upcoming months. I look forward to dropping more videos for my "Hazard Zone" series alongside developing a few new unique series for all of you to watch. I would like to thank all of you who have continued to support our community and I hope that you continue that support in the upcoming months. A new addition to Sketch Gaming...Welcome Deadly Duality!

Hey everyone! ToXicTeK here. I have great news everyone. I would like to announce that we have two new members possibly joining the Sketch gaming crew.  The one is unconfirmed. For my last performance,  I plan on introducing yet another great tack by the artist P.O. of MadeManEntertainment label. ToXicTek Bids farewell to Sketch Gaming!!!! Welcoming Deadly Duality!!!

Hey everyone! ToXicTeK here. Here at Sketch Gaming, we like to strive for a sense of community and family amongst  its members.  It's always sad to see a member of the family leave and continue life onward elsewhere. Even though we've only been up for roughly a good month, we still continue hate it when we lose those closest to us.  It's in this light that I, ToXicTek, intend on taking a leave of absence for an unknown period of time.  I could list a million reasons as to why I'm doing this but it wouldn't change the fact that I've grown "busy" and restless over personal goals and accomplishments that have yet to be done in my life. I truly have enjoyed the time that I've been here with BeamerWalls, Ventus, and our new recruit, Deadly Duality. There are like brothers to me and even though I highly regret leaving the fam, it's something that has to be done. But ToXic, what about all of the planned series that you've promised to deliver to us? To simply put it,  the planned series such as "SketchCraft" and "Sketchy Reviews" will continue to be launched as promised, but without my presence in the daily routine of editing and stuff. I plan on continuing with the series,"The Hazard Zone", however, these videos will be far and few between one another. Again, I'm simply not quitting the fam , just moving forward. With this post I would like to pass the torch onto Ventus, Deadly Duality, and Beamerwalls with the hope of holding down the fort and showing you viewers out there the full potential that this community has. As kind of  farewell gift, I will do one more episode of the 'Hazard Zone" that features a great single by PO titled "Back On" I would like to thank you all for our support through our first grueling month and hope that you continue to support theses great guys in there endeavors here at Sketch Gaming. farewell everyone and I hope that you enjoy future works done by these amazing guys here at Sketch Gaming. The "Hazard Zone" - P.O. of MadeMan Entertainment

Hey everyone! ToXicTeK here. Like I mentioned in an earlier post, I have no intention of reviewing or critiquing the tracks that make there way onto this series. IF anyone decides to leave a comment, please refrain from complaining that there is no commentary. This purpose of this series is to allow our followers to gain exposure to some of the greatest indie artists in the game. I want all  of you to embrace each track to be able to establish a connection to the artists' craft and passion. So with without any more boring rambling, I would like you all to welcome our first contender in this series of the "Hazard Zone" is none other than P.O. of MadeMan Entertainment.

I remember being in the SGA Office at Mitchell Commnuity College when a great friend of mind caught me jamming to some Gucci and Yo Gotti. Just as I finished, he goes,"Yo Ty, Have you heard of my man PO?" I told him that I hadn't and he told of his recent video entitled "Krazy" and had me watch it. I shit you not, I watched that video over and over for the next 20 minutes. I told my friend (Mufasa) that I thought that P.O. had a powerful and unique flow to him. However, this simple observation undermines what is MME (MadeManEntertainment) and P.O. The best way to describe this artist is best said by the artist himself via his soundcloud:

"Rising from the bottom to the top is not an easy task for any artist in the rap game, and coming from the streets of North Carolina didn't make it any easier for up and coming musical phenomenon P.O. Years of education and experience gives him the edge over the competition. Is there any way to stop a determined young man with a dream?

Hello everyone! ToXicTeK here! I know that I've been promising ya'll your first taste of the new, adrenaline pumping series under the Sketch Gaming  known as the "Hazard Zone". I proud to bring you P.O. of MadeManEntertainment and Glo Ko of Top Notch Studios. You may be thinking that the purpose of this series may be to send you a huge dose of heart-pounding beats to review and critique. However, this statement is far from the reason. The true purpose of this of series to allow you, the audience, the ability to make that decision for yourselves. Music is a special craft that allows an individual, or a group of them, to express themselves in artistic and creative manner. Musicians, however, use their drive and their passion to pour their very soul into every track that they drop. Many sacrifice a great deal in order to live their passion. We as individual must treat every song, every artist, nay, every beat that we listen to as if it were us ourselves expressing that same passion being expressed in that very moment by that musician. Remember, music is similar to beauty in that the soul portrayed in each track lies in the eyes and heart of the beholder. Being aware of this and being part of that community that willingly mold their very existence into each passionate track. It's for this reason and reason alone, that I will NOT be reviewing and critiquing, but instead offer a new and different perspective as to what music really is to you. I can say that, in the next few posts, I have the pleasure of introducing  to this wonderful audience of readers and followers two really great musicians that have been on there grind from the very start and have found and molded that passion to bring me and you t some of the greatest tunes for this series! A serious note from Sketch Gaming...Relay for Life Campaign

Hello everyone! ToXicTeK of Sketch Gaming here. I first would like to take this opportunity to apologize to for the lack of material  on our channel as of late. I've had a family emergency to deal with and have been unable to upload any new content. I am however, back in the studio working to catch no a week's worth of material for you guys. Thanks for understanding! Now that it's out of the way, I now move to more pressing matters.

On May 2-3, there is an event known as the Relay For Life. For those of you that don't know what RFL is, I'll briefly explain. Relay for Life is an event, created by the American cancer Society, to help raise cancer awareness to cancer, show support to cancer survivors and there families, and to raise funding to help further cancer researcher. Believe or not, many us are effected by cancer. Whether you're a survivor or know someone to have fallen  victim to this disease,  we are effected. Many of my friends and family have either persevered  through treatment or have fallen victim to it. I'm not the only one who has had to suffer the loss of loved ones to cancer's deadly strike. there thousands who are effected who are effected by this disease everyday.

Sketch gaming has teamed up with Megan Varnadore  and her Catawba Supernatural Investigation (CSI) club at Catawba College in Salisbury , NC. Through our combined efforts, we intend on reaching and exceeding our goal of $2,000. Our goal is to also help find a PERMANENT solution in the prevention of this catastrophic plague known as cancer. I, along with BeamerWalls, Ventus, and SynisterBeatZ, will be participating in this event to show our support.We will be provide around the clock footage from the event, from noon on 5/2 to noon on 5/3. We also will be attempting our very first LIVE feed through Twitch all throughout the event. There is a huge list of activities that we have planned through the event and we encourage everyone, who can and willing, to come and help show your support to the cause. If you can't come or would prefer to further support the cause and our efforts. We're not asking you to donate a fortune to the cause. Even sparing a penny ($ 0.01), it would help our efforts, and the efforts of the American Cancer Society, that much more. We here at Sketch Gaming  know that everyone in our community is part of other communities as well. To put it simply, we encourage the members of our community to go help other members in different communities. Through unity we can help shape a better future and grow, both mentally and physically, as a community.  I would like to thank you all for taking the time to read this post and I hope that you help in joining the fight against cancer and join us on May 2nd and 3rd for a great time and great cause. Update...ToXicTeK's "Hazard Zone"

Hey everyone! ToXicTeK here. I'm just writing this post to give you all an update on when the series, "Hazard Zone" will be dropping. It's been a busy weekend here in the studio getting videos rendered. Unfortunately, there hasn't been enough time lately to add the face cam reactions to the videos yet. Once everyone has completed their first play through series, I'll go back and re-upload those videos with the face cam on them. I have managed to acquire the permission of one of the few artists that I've reached out to. I'll mention him in the next post, which should be later on today! Thanks everyone! I just wanted simply post this update to let you the status of the series and be on the look out for more updates from everyone here at Sketch Gaming. I'm totally psyched to get started! Moving forward from Let's Play...Sketching out some ideas

Hello everyone, ToXicTeK here. I hope that everyone has had to the chance to enjoy our videos to date. If not, please take a chance when you're done here to venture on over to our Youtube channel to show your support by subscribing, liking, and/or commenting on our videos. Now it's time to get down to some business. First off, I would like to thank all of you that have shown your support on YT, Facebook, and here on Blogger. You guys give a reason to continue our work here at Sketch Gaming (outside our natural love of making the videos and playing games for you guys!).

The second item on today's post is the direction that we here at Sketch Gaming are thinking of taking. As far as videos go, we will continue to pump out videos for your insatiable gaming appetites. We feel that there are so many other channels and Blogs here out on the web that have already been done,  are still doing, anad what we've started doing. We will continue with the LP's as we have started doing. However, if plan on growing we need to be able to diversify ourselves in order to stand out from the others. Even though our goal is to be as big if not bigger that those out there (Sky, Seananners, Markiplier, Pewdiepie), we want obtain our successful in our own, Sketchy way. We want to be able to be successful without having to rely on "corporate" investments or any other form of help. We are even in discussion on creating our own gaming community here on the web. I personally would love to see this channel, nay, OUR community expand further out of this little town. 

The third item kind of continues from the second one. Like i mentioned previously, we here at Sketch Gaming have been discussing ways to diversify ourselves and make us different from anyone else out there. Our primary goal here at SG is to provide high quality, unique content for our viewers. Making money is not a motivating factor that pushes us to do what we like to do. For example, I, serve as the groups video editor. I do what I do because its something that I can use to better myself and gain experience in editing video footage. However, I'm gaining experience in other things such as promotion, publishing, and  graphic design. I feel that this experience is more valuable than money. However, everyone here at Sketch Gaming is unique and different from another. Therefore I can't speak on everyone's behalf.

3/27 - Incoming Videos!!!!

Attention fellow Sketch Gamers, I have a really BIG update for ya'll. All throughout today, all of you're favorite Sketch Gaming brethren will be dropping as many as FOUR videos out on Youtube. We have the adorable Beamerwalls continuing his violent and disturbing struggle through the psychological thriller, "Cry of Fear". What evil lurks ahead? Next up, we have the dastardly Synister BeatZ continuing his gory journey through the planet-cracker Ishamura on "Dead Space". Will Synister be able to persevere to reach the end of the game or will he have to succomb to lowering the difficulties to fit his needs? After that, we have the charismatic Ventus continuing his first time ever play-through of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time". Will he conquer the evil threatening the land of Hyrule? Or suffer endless counts of death just trying to figure things out? Stay tuned to find out!!

Introducing ToXicTeK

Hey everyone! ToXicTeK here. I'm  here just to update ya'll on the current heading of Sketch Gaming. I'm currently in the studio with Beamerwalls and Ventus. These guys are a blast to chill with and a group to "brawl" with as well. Synister Beatz isn't here with us, but busy in his own studio stirring up some nasty beats for our intro/outro. We truly wish he could be here. We're currently recording more Cry of Fear w/Beamerwalls and "The Legend of Zelda : Ocarina of Time" w/ Ventus. Things are going well in the studio. Ventus also is planning on starting on a F.E.A.R playthrough sometime in the near furture. Being the one to make the "small" edits, I plan on starting on a different genre. I intend to start a music-based playlist known as the "Hazard Zone". Through this ongoing series, I will use a combination of the games "Beat Hazard" and "Melody's Escape". My intention with this playlist is to  help promote the musical work of independent artist's from around the country. Ventus may also be joining  I hope that this will help in promoting the works of these musicians. Anyways,  duty calls and I need to keep up with these guys! Until next time...GET YOUR GAME ON!!!

Dead Space w/ Synister BeatZ - Episode #1

HELLO GUYS! WE HAVE JUST RELEASED THE FIRST EPISODE OF OUR DEAD SPACE LETS PLAY. I started it ut as a lets play, and have kinda added in so walk through, and you will see the different things I do, and learn how to do. Now I started out on medium, which was a bad mistake, medium is as hard as some of the games that I play with the difficulty on hard, or harder. If you start out with this game defiantly go with easy, it wily make your life a lot less stressful, in a way. It will still be very creepy and edgy. Over all its a good game. I did a few bids on medium, but as this is a simulator, I went to easy, and I will be doing the rest of it out on easy for this first time. I may come back to this game and give a walk through, if you would like me to comment and subscribe, like us on Facebook, and FOLLOW!!!

Synister Beatz - Dead Space - Starting in the studio

Hey guys, Synister BeatZ here. I am going to be starting the first game I am going to be doing in a little bit. Now horror games aren't for everyone, if you get scared easily you might not want watch some of them, but I do say that we will die a lot. For my fist game I picked Dead Space.... now some people might say that it is a  bad pick, yes I will die..multiple times, I don't care this is fun, and if any of you would like to see someone play it for the first time,  I will be.
